Join us for a culturally enriching experience in an upcoming land-based learning and culture walk where we will walk with an Elder who will share traditional teachings, stories, and insights deeply rooted in the land we walk upon.

 

This unique experience offers a genuine opportunity to learn about Indigenous culture, foster a deeper connection with nature, and gain an appreciation for the interconnection between the two.

Choose between two convenient time options, with one session in the morning and another in the afternoon.

Important Information for Indigenous Teachings and Land-Based Learning Walk:

 

Terrain and Attire: Please be advised that the forest terrain may be uneven, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for walking on natural surfaces. This will ensure your safety and enhance your overall experience during the walk.

Weather Considerations: In the event of inclement weather, such as rain or strong winds, we may need to reschedule the walk for the safety and enjoyment of all participants. We will keep a close eye on the weather forecast and notify you in advance of any date changes. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.

Essentials to Bring: We highly encourage you to bring water and snacks to keep yourself hydrated and energized throughout the session, as well as a lunch. Additionally, please consider bringing appropriate attire for the weather conditions, such as a light jacket or a hat for sun protection.

Spiritual Practices: It's important to note that this event may involve spiritual practices, including a sacred fire, prayer, smudging, and tobacco offerings. Duration and Group Size: To ensure an intimate and engaging experience, a maximum of five participants will be accommodated per walk.   Please note that the end time is approximate.
